European Standard’ International Association

‘European Standard’ International Association (ESIA) — Independent non-profit organization headquartered in Brussels and facilitating European business support programs, modern quality standards introduction, promotion of international cooperation, and enhancement of competitiveness of participating companies. Participating in global quality movement the Association aligns with European Organization for Quality and European Foundation for Quality Management policies.

ESIA is an ideological successor to the Institute for European Integration founded in 2003 at the initiative of Council of Europe Secretary General Walter Schwimmer and aimed to facilitate social and economic modernization of Eastern Europe. Enjoying historically established and well-developed ties in economic and public policy structures of Russia and former countries of the USSR, the Association sees its goal in facilitating the introduction of Russian most efficient enterprises, involved in international projects, international trade and economic cooperation into the European economy.

 

Lines of activity of the Association:

·         Promotion of economic cooperation between European Union and Russia

·         Support of international investment programs

·         Facilitation of international quality related projects

·         Facilitation of programs aimed to reward and encourage quality related achievements

·         Cooperation with national and international quality organizations in Europe

·         Holding of international forums

 

ESIA is active in all countries of the European Union, Russia and the CIS countries. Its activities involve participation of governmental institutions, industry and commerce associations, public organizations and companies from Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland and other countries of Europe.
